FG-1 (Field Generation One): Produced in the field from Mini Tuber seeds, also called Super Elite 1, Pre Elite, or Nuclear. Exposed to field conditions for one year. FG-2 (Field Generation Two): Produced from FG-1 seeds and exposed to field conditions for two years. Known as Super Elite 2 or Elite 1. FG-3 (Field Generation Three): Produced from FG-2 seeds, exposed to field conditions for three years, referred to as Super Elite 3 or Elite 2.
